However, the location of our initial room made it challenging as it was above a buffet, leading to strong cooking odors. The waiting times for restaurants were frustrating, particularly at the Italian venue where we encountered a two-hour wait. Additionally, the aging facilities, including some maintenance issues, detracted from an otherwise enjoyable family vacation.

the hotel is super close to great restaurants like Pelicanos and El Mirador. You can easily walk to Parque Ventura Cancun and the Cancun Wax Museum to soak in some local culture. as a single traveler, I loved the welcoming atmosphere of the staff which made my experience even better.

The service was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to ensure a good experience. The beach was lovely, perfect for relaxation, though the food quality could be improved. The loud music in the evenings made conversation difficult, which was somewhat disappointing for a family-friendly atmosphere.
